To hide the fact that the image is grainy, you can use textures to make it seem as if the grainyness was intentional. I like to find stocks of sandpaper or cement to do this.

LOL I feel the same way, except I like Big Boss, I like the Boss, but I like him better, and I like Ocelot too (I love the name Shalashaska lol). And yeah, Kojima is a true genius, and MGS3 has the best gameplay, story and graphics I've seen.
